Austin College Art Scholarships

Hope College Distinguished Artist Awards – Dance
The Hope College Distinguished Artist Awards are prestigious awards given to students who have demonstrated excellence in the field of dance. Recipients will receive $3,000, which can be renewed for up to four years.
Eligible applicants must be a current student at the college and have completed at least one semester of college-level dance classes. Applicants must demonstrate artistic skill by submitting a portfolio review or audition video showing their technique and movement quality work. Applicants must also submit transcripts that show academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Tupelo Elvis Fan Club Scholarship
The Tupelo Elvis Fan Club Scholarship provides college scholarships for students who are passionate about the legacy of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. The award amount is up to $5,000 for each successful applicant.
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to or are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university within the U.S. Applicants must be legal residents of Tupelo, Mississippi or Lee County. Applicants should demonstrate academic excellence by providing transcripts that show a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Finally, you must be able to perform at the Live Finale.

CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship 5k
The CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship is an annual award open to both highschool seniors who plan to enroll at an accredited college or university within the U.S., and college students who are already enrolled. This scholarship is designed to support those pursuing a career in the performing arts by providing them with financial assistance of $5,000 and mentorship opportunities.
To be eligible for this award, applicants must submit transcripts that show academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 2.5, and must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate leadership qualities such as participation in extracurricular activities related to dance or other community service experiences relevant to the field.

Iowa Scholarships for the Arts
This scholarship for highschool seniors provides financial assistance for talented students pursuing a career in the performing arts at an Iowa college or university. Each year, up to four recipients will receive $2,500 each year which can be renewed up to three times each year depending on their progress and performance academically.
To be eligible, applicants must plan to or are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university within the U.S, and demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Applications are due April 3rd 2023.
This program recognizes the excellence and creative talents of students in Florida, awarding $1,000 to 25 awardees who display promise in the arts, including dance.
To apply, students will submit their resume and portfolio, alongside an essay describing how arts have positively impacted their lives. Any highschool senior graduating in Florida is eligible to apply.
Applications open September 2023 and are due February 2024.
Ashley E. Ketcher Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship for highschool seniors provides financial support to an Auburn High School CAPA student looking to attend an accredited university or college. Award amounts vary depending on financial need.
If you’re interested in applying, you must have previous experience in the performing arts whilst demonstrating a current interest, have a GPA of at least 2.5, show a clear financial need, and have overcome hardship in your life.
Applications are due February 2024.
JSU Alabama Theatre and Film Scholarships
This scholarship for college helps new and current students at Jacksonville State University offset the costs of continuing their education, and award amounts vary depending on financial need. Criteria tends to vary depending on the scholarship you apply for; some are automatically offered, whilst others require an application to be submitted.
To apply, you must prepare a resume of film or theater related experience to be submitted with the application. Applications will open in October 2023 and are due February 2024.
