Foot Locker Athletes Scholarship Programs

Through TMI Strategy, Foot Locker offers scholarship opportunity to 20 scholar athletes. There’s also a Ken C. Hicks Scholarship honoring the former CEO. Interested high school seniors must be involved in after-school sports, display good sportsmanship, and be passionate about community empowerment.

Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Scholarship – In recognition of their outstanding leadership, 20 high school seniors around the country will receive up to $20,000 scholarships for college from the Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program. The Foot Locker Foundation’s college scholarship is designed to support outstanding student-athletes who want to enroll and succeed at a two- or four-year community college or four-year institution.

 What is the Ken C. Hicks Scholarship – One of the twenty high school students chosen as a member of the Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program will receive the Ken C. Hicks Scholarship. The scholarship honors Ken’s strong commitment to academic performance as well as his outstanding legacy as the former Chairman and CEO of Foot Locker. The awardee will receive an additional $5,000 (up to a total of $25,000). To be qualified, this person must be driven by a personal passion for success, exhibit strong core values, inspire others, and engage actively and enthusiastically in all aspects of school, sports, and community life.

Eligibility

The following requirements must be satisfied to be eligible for this scholarship opportunity:

• A U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States
• Maintains a cumulative secondary GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Currently involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community-based sport
