CVS, one of the largest healthcare chains in the country with headquarters in Rhode Island, donates money to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to offer scholarship opportunity that specifically targets business students. Since its founding, UNCF has assisted more than 500,000 students in obtaining their college degrees.

CVS Pharmacy, Inc. Business Scholarship Program

This program will establish and award $5,000 scholarships for college students studying Business, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, and other business-related majors. Students must submit a resume, essay, and unofficial transcript for full consideration.

Eligibility

The following requirements must be satisfied to be eligible for this scholarship opportunity:

• A U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States
• Demonstrates unmet financial need (as verified by their college or university)
• Pursuing a business undergraduate degree or a graduate or professional degree (finance, accounting, human resources, analytics, communications, math, healthcare management, marketing). Students must apply using the classification from the current academic year.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
