Chevron Corporation Scholarship
Founded by a Fortune 500 energy giant and managed by the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, the Chevron Corporation Scholarship awards $5,000 annually to students belonging to indigenous communities in North America. The Chevron corporation provides scholarship opportunity for high school seniors and undergraduates in the STEM degrees.
Chevron Corporation Scholarship Program
This scholarship opportunity is open to both graduate and undergraduate students who are pursuing Science, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM) degrees at accredited institutions. Chevron is particularly interested in offering scholarships for college to students taking courses in the following degrees: Civil, Chemical, Electrical (with or without power focus), Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Geological/Geophysical, Health Environment and Safety, and Naval Architecture. Applicants must have a current AISES membership at the time of application.
Eligibility
The following requirements must be satisfied to be eligible for this scholarship opportunity:
- A registered citizen of American Indian, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, First Nations and other indigenous peoples of North America
- Enrolled or is planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year university
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
