The Asparagus Club only gives out five scholarships every year. Each scholarship is worth $2,000 every semester, with a maximum of four consecutive semesters. To earn a scholarship each semester/quarter, recipients must maintain full-time student status and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Eligible applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, food management, or other relevant courses of study leading to a career in the independent retail grocery industry.

At the Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest, all high school seniors are eligible to compete for college scholarships worth $4,250. A copy of the contestant’s high school transcript, as well as valid identification, must be submitted upon registration. The first-place winner will earn $2,000. Second place receives $1,000, third place receives $750, and fourth place receives $500.

Create a Google Doodle based on this year’s subject using your imagination. Students may use whatever materials they like, but all Doodles must be submitted through the entry form. Parents and instructors can send the completed entry form or upload it as a.png or.jpg file online. The artwork of the National Winner will be exhibited on Google.com for one day. A $30,000 college scholarship, a $50,000 technology package for their school/non-profit organization, a trip to Google headquarters in California, Google hardware, and fun Google swag will also be awarded to the winner.

Crystallography has been instrumental in the development of X-ray diffraction, electron diffraction, and neutron diffraction for elucidating the atomic structure of materials. Crystallography is an interdisciplinary discipline that is taught in physics, chemistry, geology, molecular biology, metallurgy, and material science departments. The International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD) has created the Ludo Frevel Crystallography Scholarship Fund to encourage talented graduate students to undertake crystallographically oriented research.

Tall Clubs International annually provides up to $1,000 in student scholarships to tall students under the age of 21 who will be starting their first year of college the following autumn. To be eligible, candidates must be under 21, starting college in the autumn, and fulfill the TCI height requirements of 5’10” for women and 6’2″ for men, barefoot. If you want to apply for a TCI Scholarship Award, you must first seek sponsorship from a TCI Member Club near you. Even if there isn’t a local Student Scholarship available, they may choose you as their candidate. Your name will be submitted to the TCI Foundation after you have a local sponsor.
