The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) provides various scholarships to full-time students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilize listening and spoken language, and are pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree. To be qualified, the applicant’s major means of communication must be spoken, and hearing loss must have been diagnosed before the applicant’s fourth birthday. The American Council of the Blind (ACB) and the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) have teamed together to provide educational scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 for people attending a technical college or as an incoming freshman, undergraduate, or graduate student. ATSSA Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program

Until we can minimize the incidence of work zone deaths, the ATSS Foundation offers scholarships to loved ones of fallen or permanently disabled highway employees. Our goal is to someday provide zero scholarships as a result of zero deaths. The Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program provides financial help for post-secondary education to dependents (children and spouses) of road workers murdered or permanently injured on the job. The foundation will work to guarantee that their dependents’ academic goals are realized. Dependents of road workers murdered or permanently crippled in work zone construction or maintenance activities, including mobile operations and the installation of roadside safety elements, are eligible applicants for the Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship. Gilman International Scholarship Program of the United States Department of State allows students with limited financial resources to study or intern overseas, providing them with skills important to our national defense and economic development. BioMatrix Scholarships for the Bleeding Disorders Community

BioMatrix provides six (6) $1,000 scholarships to members of the bleeding disorders community who are pursuing higher education. Each opportunity is limited to a certain population within the bleeding disorder community, such as women, men, inhibitor patients, and direct family members. This award is only available to students who reside in Windsor, Colorado, Conroe, Texas, Wilkinson County, Mississippi, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Students must be a senior in high school who will be attending an eligible college or institution in the autumn of the year the scholarship is offered. Students with hearing or other physical disabilities, students not receiving other considerable help, and/or students from Louisiana may be given preference. The scholarship is a four-year stipend worth $1,500 per semester for eight consecutive semesters, for a total payment of $12,000.
California Law Enforcement Personnel Dependents Grant Program (LEPD)
